Machu Picchu by Train Plus

DAY 1: CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY - OLLANTAYTAMBO - GUAS CALIENTES

Tour Beginning: Between 7:30 am – 8:00 am

In this occasion, our guide will look for you at your hotel to take you to the tourist bus that will take you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first visit stop will be the Mirador of Taray for spectacular views of the Andes and the Sacred Valley then we will continue to the Archaeological Complex of Pisac and see the agricultural terraces, Inca cemeteries and royal buildings.  Then the City of Pisac and its famous Handicraft Market where we will have the opportunity to learn about the customs of their inhabitants; after this visit we will continue our trip to the city of Urubamba where we will enjoy our lunch in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, after this we will continue our trip to the Magnificent Inca Archaeological Center of Ollantaytambo built to guard the entrance to Machu Picchu and to protect the Incas from possible invasions. We will visit its ruins, terraces, temples and cobbled city of the time, there we can appreciate splendid views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

In the afternoon just after the sight of Ollantaytambo we will take a train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes located in the lower part of the mountain of Machu Picchu, this journey you will take 2 hours and you will have beautiful views of the forest and mountains of the Sacred Valley, here we will spend the night in the hotel reserved for you.

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU

Tour Beginning: Morning (Prior coordination with our guide during the tour)

On this day we will get up early, the hour will depend of the ticket schedule of the entrance to Machu Picchu. We will get ready and have a good breakfast, then we will take a tourist bus that will take us to the bus station at the top of The mountain of Machu Picchu, where we will begin our tour, first crossing the checkpoint where we will identify ourself with our passport and entrance ticket, then our guide will take us through a brief Inca trail until we reach an observation point where we will give ourselves an incredible surprise and we will see the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu in all its splendor, then we will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and after this we will have free time to continue touring on our own and take all the photos we want. At the end of the visit we will take the bus to get off to the city of Aguas Calientes.

In the afternoon we will take the train to the city of Ollantaytambo where a tourist bus will be waiting for us to take us to our hotel in the City of Cusco where we will spend the night.

The Return hour to Cusco City will depend of the availability of the Train Tickets.

DAY 3: CUSCO
