DAY 1: SAN JOSE
Welcome to San Jose, Costa Rica.
Reception at the Juan Santamaría airport and transfer to a hotel in San José.
The capital of San José is located in the middle of the Central Valley and in the center of the country, considered one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Latin America. The city is located at a strategic point near the main tourist attractions such as: historic buildings, museums, theaters, craft markets, beautiful parks, shopping centers and offers a varied gastronomic offer.

DAY 2: SAN JOSE - MANZANILLO (5.30 HRS. APPROX.)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the South Caribbean, crossing the Braulio Carrillo National Park, which is the largest in the central region, until reaching the Limón area, continuing south towards Manzanillo beach. The Caribbean area is identified by its cultural richness full of Afro-descendant nuances. Free afternoon to enjoy the area, and the glamping facilities, located in front of the beach.

DAY 3: MANZANILLO

In the morning visit a rescue home for injured, sick or orphaned animals where they are offered 24-hour care, as they would not otherwise be able to survive in the rainforest.
Free afternoon to enjoy the beautiful beaches, covered with tropical vegetation that allow the mixture of adventure activities and history that is definitely complemented by culture, gastronomy and music.

DAY 4: MANZANILLO

Free day to enjoy the beautiful beaches. Explore the South Caribbean visiting the different beaches that surround you. The coral reefs of Playa Cahuita stand out, in addition to the multicolored sand beaches (from black, yellow and gray), coastal vegetation and medium height forests.
Do not forget to interact with the locals and learn a little about their customs and traditions.
We invite you to try the Patí or the Rice & Beans that will leave you with a Caribbean flavor to remember.

DAY 5: MANZANILLO - POAS VOLCANO (6 HRS. APPROX.)

Departure from the Caribbean towards the mountains that surround the Central Valley. Along the route you will be able to appreciate agricultural plantations such as pineapple and tubers, among others, until you begin the ascent through the rain forest. Along the way you will be surrounded by landscapes and beautiful views that will make your route a very pleasant trip and that will accompany you to your hotel, located right on the slopes of the Poás Volcano. Arrival mid-afternoon.

DAY 6: POAS VOLCANO - JESUSITA ISLAND (6 HRS. APPROX.)

Early in the morning, you will visit the Poas Volcano National Park. The volcano has one of the largest craters in the world and is located in the mountainous forests of the Central Volcanic Range, on the north side of the Central Valley. Afterward, you will go by private transfer to the Nicoya Gulf on the Pacific coast. Here, you will find some of the most isolated and beautiful beaches, like on Jesusita Island. You will go by private water taxi to the glamping hotel on the island.

DAY 7: JESUSITA ISLAND

Today you will have the morning free you can enjoy the beach, the sun and the sea, as well as if you wish you can use Kayaks or take a walk along the hotel's trails.
At dusk, you will go out for the Bioluminescence tour, a spectacle that nature gives you and that you will be able to appreciate while traveling by boat along the shores of the island. Some microorganisms such as plankton, squid and fish, among others, will radiate their own light, being revealed after the joint emission of the flashes.

DAY 8: JESUSITA ISLAND - SANTA TERESA (1.3 HRS. APPROX.)

You have the morning free to enjoy the island. At noon, you will leave for the port of Paquera, where your transport awaits to take you to your last beach destination.
Santa Teresa is a small beach town in the southern part of the Nicoya Peninsula that has grown into a cosmopolitan village and international vacation destination. Its fame comes from its beautiful white sand beaches, lush tropical forest, warm Pacific Ocean, and world-class surfing and yoga.

DAY 9: SANTA TERESA

Today you will enjoy a refreshing and relaxing yoga class at the hotel’s stunning open-air yoga studio in front of the beach. Your experience will be complemented by the Zen ambiance of this beautiful coastal community, with its white sand, crystal clear ocean, and tropical palm trees and vegetation.
Later you will take the Walk to the Waterfall; a tour through trails and forest until you reach the 3 most beautiful waterfalls on the Nicoya Peninsula, you can cool off in their waters and take photographs, this is an adventure hike.
Santa Teresa is ideal for nature lovers. It also offers nightlife with world-class gourmet restaurants and beach parties featuring international DJs mixing electronic music.

DAY 10: SANTA TERESA

Free day to enjoy the beach, the sun and the sea while you relax feeling the breeze and listening to the sounds of the sea.
Santa Teresa is a paradisiacal place, where you can enjoy a walk along the extensive beach and If you prefer, you can do one of the many optional activities available in the area, including a canopy zip-line tour or horseback riding.

DAY 11: SANTA TERESA - SAN JOSE (5 HRS. APPROX.)

At the agreed time, departure for your transfer to the Juan Santamaría Airport. Remember to be at the air terminal at least 3 hours before your departure flight.

Recommendations:
- Passport with no less than 6 months of validity
- Travel alarm clock (some hotels have them, others do not; so, it's a good idea to bring one)
- Sun block and insect repellent
- Shirts: cotton or light synthetic, long and short sleeves
- Pants: lightweight cotton or synthetic pants. Bring at least 2 sets of clothes that dry quickly (jeans are not recommended; too slow to dry)
- Footwear: lightweight waterproof hiking boots, river sandals (Teva type sandals), tennis shoes
- Running shoes / sneakers. If you are not wearing hiking boots, be sure to bring TWO pairs of tennis shoes. As soon as a pair gets wet, wear them when your feet are likely to get wet. Make every effort to keep the other pair dry!
