Machu Picchu by Train

DAY 1: CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY - AGUAS CALIENTES

On this occasion, our guide will pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to the tourist bus that will take you on a 1.3-hour trip through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the city of Ollantaytambo where we will take a train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes, located in the lower part of the Machu Picchu mountain, this train trip will take you 1.3 hours and you will have beautiful views of the forest and the mountains of the Sacred Valley, here we will spend the night in the hotel reserved for you.

Arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes, you will have the day off to enjoy a typical lunch, walk through the beautiful town in the beginning of the jungle at the foot of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary and rest for the next day's great visit!

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU

Start of the Tour: Morning (Previous coordination with our guide during the tour)

This day we will get up early, the time will depend on the schedule of the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu. We will get ready and have a good breakfast, then we will take a tourist bus that will take us to the bus station on the top of the Machu Picchu mountain, where we will begin our tour, first crossing the checkpoint where we will identify ourselves with our passport and entrance ticket, then our guide will take us through a short Inca trail until we reach an observation point where we will have an incredible surprise and see the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu in all its splendor, then we will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and After this we will have free time to continue exploring on our own and take all the photos we want. At the end of the visit we will take the bus to go down to the city of Aguas Calientes.

In the afternoon we will take the train to the city of Ollantaytambo where a tourist bus will be waiting for us to take us to our hotel in the City of Cusco where we will spend the night.

The return time to the City of Cusco will depend on the availability of the Train Tickets.
