DAY 3: ARENAL VOLCANO

Breakfast in the hotel.

In the morning, this excursion will simply surprise you, Hike through the Arenal Volcano National Park - Trail 1968, begins with a short boat ride from the Arenal Lake dam to the entrance of ā€œLa PenĆnsulaā€, this path will take us through the forest along barely opened trails within the national park, and we will walk enjoying incredible views of Lake Arenal in addition to the park's fantastic viewpoints; This trail is special for bird watching and nature photography.

We will then visit areas that were once destroyed by volcanic activity and are now in the process of regeneration, a walk through the ā€œColadasā€ trail will take us to experience what not long ago were lava flows. The nature, geology and history of volcanoes are in the hands of our professional guides.

The Arenal Volcano before the active period that began in 1968 was covered by a lush canopy of vegetation. The people who climbed the summit of Arenal said that inside the crater there were large trees and they slept in places where there was some heat due to the small exits of the volcano steam.

Currently, green areas are located on the east side of the mountain, and other small green parts can be seen on the north and south of the volcano. Enjoy the Arenal Volcano National Park to the fullest by joining this exclusive tour.

In the afternoon, enjoy the natural hot spring pools surrounded by lush gardens at your hotel, with spectacular views of the volcano. Temperatures in the thermal pools range from 83Ā° to 104Ā° F, and some have beautiful waterfalls.
